DUBAI: ‘Tis the season to jet off to far-flung locales. Moroccan-British model Nora Attal is in Bali right now, giving her 33.6K Instagram followers a glimpse into her island getaway. The 20-year-old shared a snap from a lush pool, captioning it: “It’s a Bali night.”

The 20-year-old, who is one of the industry’s most sought-after models, is currently on the island that was popularized by the film adaptation of Elizabeth Gilbert’s memoir, “Eat, Pray, Love” with her girl gang, who are also ensuring their social media followers live vicariously through them by uploading videos and pictures of their trip and all of the activities it entails.

In addition to sunbathing by picturesque infinity pools overlooking the ocean, Attal and her friends also partook in leisurely scooter rides around the island — getting lost once or twice in the process, according to one Instagram post shared by Attal’s fellow model pal Lauren de Graaf.

“Got lost a couple of times,” wrote de Graaf alongside a video of Attal riding a scooter down a winding road, prompting the Moroccan beauty to respond “a couple?”

One of the jetsetters also shared an image on her Instagram Stories of Attal at what appears to be a spice market.

The trip to the dreamy Indonesian island is a much-needed break for the London-based model, who’s had quite a busy 2019.

In addition to a whirlwind fashion month in September that saw her walk the runways of Chanel, Dior, Balmain and Longchamp, among many others, Attal has also fronted several campaigns and editorials for prestigious fashion maisons and international publications.

She starred in advertorials for Chloe, Tory Burch and Alexander McQueen. Memorably, she was chosen as the face of Vogue Arabia’s December 2019 issue, appearing alongside fellow regional runway stars Malika El-Maslouhi, Hayett McCarthy, Nour Rizk and Leyla Karim Greiss.

Attal was discovered by Jonathan Anderson, founder of the J.W. Anderson label, in 2014 and shot a campaign for the British fashion house before she had taken her first steps on a catwalk. She quickly went on to become one of fashion’s most in-demand stars, working with some of the world’s leading high-end labels.
