Lyft is closing out a busy year for the ride-hailing industry by crowning the top destinations of 2016. For the second annual "Lyftie Awards," the startup revealed Wednesday winners of the most visited locations, including restaurants, bars, hotels, transit stops and event spaces, by its passengers.
The data highlights one of Lyft's regulatory victories in 2016: Approval to pick up and drop off passengers at more airports. While last year transit stops such as bus stops and train stations were the number one drop-off category, airports took the top spot this year. Read more...
