DUBAI: This week, models, actresses, socialites and royalty descended upon Rome to attend the lavish Bulgari Barocco bash, put on to welcome a spectacular new collection of fine jewelry titled Barocko.

Among the guests on the star-studded guest list was French model Tina Kunakey, who donned an elegant fuchsia-colored gown from the late Tunisian designer Azzedine Alaia for the occasion.

The design featured a scooped, exposed back and a halter neckline. She elevated the look with a selection of sparkling Bulgari diamond rings and a serpent necklace.

As for her hair and makeup, the 23-year-old opted for a sleek, face-framing braid that served as a backdrop to a soft wash of burnished eyeshadow and rose-toned lips.

Kunakey is married to French actor Vincent Cassel. The couple tied the knot in France in 2018.

The model, who has walked the runway for Gaultier and starred in campaigns for L’Oreal, wore a Vera Wang wedding dress and Amina Muaddi shoes, which were custom-made by the Jordanian-Romanian footwear designer specifically for her wedding.

A good friend of the Paris-based footwear designer, Kunakey was selected to star in Muaddi’s debut campaign for her eponymous, cult-favorite shoe line a mere two days after getting married.

Kunakey and Cassel — who was previously married to Monica Bellucci — welcomed their first child together, a girl who they named Amazonie, in April 2019. The newborn is the French actor’s third child and first with Kunakey.

However, Cassel didn’t make an appearance in Rome this week. Instead, the French model attended the event with her younger brother Zakari Kunakey.

Meanwhile, also at Bulgari’s lavish event was British model and socialite Poppy Delevingne, who made her first red carpet appearance post-lockdown in Rome. For the occasion, Delevingne made a statement wearing a semi-sheer, lace-infused black gown plucked from Fendi’s Fall 2020 collection.

British model and aristocrat Lady Kitty Spencer was also at the star-studded bash. For her part, Spencer opted for a glamorous black ball gown with a strapless corset bodice and billowing skirt made out of layers of sheer, polka dot tulle from Italian label Dolce & Gabbana.
