Muhammad Abdul Mujib
The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) recently announced the winners of its Instagram Photo Contest for July, which had the theme ‘Summer.’ Mujib, an Indonesian photographer, was selected for this image of Kelingking Beach on Nusa Penida Island in Bali.
Salem Sarhan Al-Sawafi
The Emirati photographer won for this drone photograph. ”I took the photo at my father’s farm in an area free of people. My brothers and I were there far from the hustle of the city,” Al-Sawafi told Arab News. “What made me decide on this pic was the beauty of the soapy playground colors and the shadows of the people.”
Ganjar Mustika
Indonesian photographer Mustika took his winning photo in November 2019 in West Java, in a place called Sanghyang Heuleut. It took him and his friend six hours to reach (including a three-hour hike), but, he told Arab News, it was worth it. “It’s like a hidden paradise,” he said. “It’s so natural and beautiful.”
