DUBAI: American actor Michael Keaton is in talks to return to the role of Batman after nearly 30 years, according to a report by US entertainment publication The Wrap.
The 68-year-old talent, who will reprise his role as Bruce Wayne, is expected to appear alongside American actor Ezra Miller in Warner Bros’ upcoming movie “The Flash.”
The Oscar-nominated actor first played the role in the 1989 “Batman” and returned in the 1992s “Batman Returns.” He then left the role during the development of the third film, “Batman Forever.”
“The Flash” is set to be directed by Argentine filmmaker Andy Muschietti after American-Nigerian Rick Famuyiwa, who directed the 2015 “Dope,” left the project in 2016.
The timeline of this movie was created after the Flash tries to go back in time to prevent the murder of his mother.
