DUBAI: There’s a new Ramadan series to add to your must-watch list this month.
The Abu Dhabi Music and Arts Foundation (ADMAF) has announced this week a new series of live, online performances set to take place during the holy month.
Entitled “Culture is Humanity, in Solidarity: Ramadan series,” the streamable, online event is scheduled to run from May 5 until May 13.
The new virtual series will feature events streamed live on social media platforms Facebook and Instagram and will boast everything from musical to visual art performances from the likes of Tunisian-French calligraphy artist eL Seed, Emirati artist Dia Allam, British singer and songwriter Sami Yusuf and Lebanese soprano Hiba Al-Kawas, among others.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, days and nights that used to be filled with outdoor adventures are now occupied by spending time inside our homes—but at least we have streaming options to keep us entertained, and they’re more plentiful than ever.
Find all the performances online on www.admaf.org.
