DUBAI: US-Iraqi beauty moguls Huda and Mona Kattan’s birthday message to YouTube star Liza Koshy is in fact the kind of “positivity we need right now.”
“Happiest Bday @lizakoshy. Thanks for always spreading love & light everywhere you go! (sic)” Mona wrote on Instagram this week.
Huda’s birthday wish was equally uplifting. “Happiest Bday @lizakoshy Love this girl! She’s soo funny & the positivity we need right now! (sic)”
In December, Huda and Koshy collaborated on a YouTube video, in which the makeup artist transformed the 24-year-old influencer, who is now also an actress, into “a Kattan sister.”
She changed some of her features, like thickening her eyebrows and defining her jawline and cheekbones by contouring, to make her look “Middle Eastern.”
In the video, the pair spoke about their careers and, of course, it wouldn’t have been a Huda Kattan tutorial without some makeup tips and tricks.
Huda also used Koshy’s makeup products, which are the product of a collaboration with skincare and makeup brand C’est Moi.
