DUBAI: This weekend, French label Jacquemus released its new Spring 2020 campaign starring part-Palestinian model Bella Hadid in images that were shot entirely via FaceTime.
The series of images were lensed by French photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti and creative-directed by Jacquemus designer Simon Porte Jacquemus. Aside from the photographer and designer, there were no stylists or hair and makeup artists involved in the shoot, which featured just Hadid and an iPhone.
Entitled “Jacquemus at home,” the new campaign features the 23-year-old wearing pieces plucked from Jacquemus’s Spring 2020 collection, which was showcased last June. In the photographs, Hadid can be seen wearing a lavender knit bodysuit, a white suit, rectangular sunglasses and platform sandals.
“Best few hours... reconnecting,” wrote Hadid in an Instagram post.
It’s not the first time the California-bred beauty has participated in an at-home modeling gig. Earlier this month, Hadid took part in a photo shoot for Vogue Italia that was also conducted entirely over FaceTime.
