DUBAI: K-pop bands Seventeen and SF9 are set to perform in the UAE’s Dubai World Trade Centre on Oct. 17.
Seventeen, a group made up of 13 members, are expected to sing hits from their new album “An Ode” that was released earlier this month. “An Ode” is the band’s third full-length album.
Next in line are SF9. The band, who are known as Sensational Feeling 9, also released their second album “Illuminate” in March. The nine-member dance troupe debuted in 2016 with the release of their first single album, “Feeling Sensation.”
South Korean singer Punch will also perform songs from Korean dramas, such as “That’s Love," “It’s Okay” and “Descendants of the Sun.”
DJs Beatpella and Hiss & Yella and actress Ha Ji Won will also hit the stage.
The Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo (KBEE) will host the event to show off Korean culture, such as K-pop, K-dramas, fashion and beauty, to a UAE audience.
