ABU DHABI: The cast and crew of new Emirati sports film “Fan of Amoory” attended the movie’s premiere at Vox Cinemas, Yas Mall, on Monday.
The film tells the story of a young boy who is a huge fan of UAE football favorite Omar Abdulrahman, widely known as Amoory, who dreams of becoming a professional football player.
Amongst the high-profile attendees of last night’s event was Major General Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, general inspector of the Ministry of Interior.
“Fan of Amoory” was directed by Amer Salmeen Al-Murry and produced by Cinema Vision Films, a partner company of twofour54. The media hub’s Film & TV Services division provided both production and post production services, including color grading and editing for film. “Fan of Amoory” also benefited from Abu Dhabi Film Commission’s 30 percent cash-back rebate on production spend.
The movie will be released across UAE theaters on Thursday.
