A pack of stray dogs attacked a 12-year old girl in India’s Jharkhand state Sunday morning, before feasting on her dead body, Gulf News reported.
The dogs surrounded the child as she left her family home to go outside, the report added. She was apparently going to relieve herself as the family does not have a toilet in their home.
The girl tried to fend off the dogs as they attacked her from all sides. But she was soon overwhelmed by her attackers that killed her and then started to feast on her remains.
Residents of the village tried to rescue her, but were too late.
