JEDDAH: Nancy Ajram, the well-known Lebanese singer, is the top Arab artist of the current year (2017), according to the Anghami website and application.
The Arab singer surpassed other Arab singers with her song “Am Bitaliq Feek” (Devotedly Attached to You), which was released nearly a year ago.
With this new record, Ajram has added to a series of successes she achieved during the year with her album “Hasa Baik” (I Feel You), and concerts she performed in a number of countries.
The first five editions of her album “Hasa Baik” were totally sold out in the market for seven months. The album contained 14 different songs.
Within 24 hours of the release of “Am Bitaliq Feek” in December last year, the Lebanese singer dominated all major musical charts in the Arab entertainment world.
The Arab music icon also reached another milestone this year when she crossed the 1 million subscription mark on YouTube in April.
