LONDON: US actress Lindsay Lohan reportedly owes over $100,000 in unpaid taxes.
According to a recently filed Federal tax lien, obtained by The Blast, Lohan owes the huge sum for earnings during the years of 2010, 2014 and 2015.
During that time, Lohan filmed the OWN docuseries with Oprah Winfrey and had a small part in the movie “Machete.”
The “Mean Girls” star recently revealed that she wants to relaunch her pop career.
The actress released two albums, “Speak,” and “A Little More Personal” (Raw), in 2004 and 2005 but a much-discussed third record never appeared. Lohan — who has been living in London and Dubai — has said only a return to music would tempt her to move back to New York.
Asked if she would move back to New York, she said: “For music, maybe.”
Lohan had earlier said she enjoys living in the Middle East, where she is able to escape the pressures she would face at home.
She explained: “I love living in New York, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life.
“I don’t always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that’s really important.”
