JEDDAH: Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe has been nominated for Germany’s Daf Bama Music Awards 2017 in the “Bama’s Best Look” category.
As soon as she received the nomination, Wehbe’s fans launched massive campaigns on social media inviting people to vote for her in order for her to win the award during the global festival that will be held on Nov. 17 in Hamburg, Germany.
Others nominated in the category include Zayn Malik, Saad Lamjarred, Shabnam, Sofia Nizharadze, Aryana Sayeed, Inna, Shabnam, and Rainie Yang.
Wehbe’s new song “Baheb Al Hayat” is currently the No. 1 Arabic song.
Tamer Hosny and Elissa have been nominated for “Wara El-Shababik” in the “Bama’s Best Collaboration” category.
The Daf Bama Music Awards is an international multicultural music award ceremony presented by Daf Entertainment based in Hamburg. It has been created to honor artists from all over the world and at the same time unite the world with music.
Awards are presented to the best and most successful musicians in Europe, Asia and Africa.
Another Lebanese diva, Carole Samaha, won in the “Best Middle Eastern Female Act” category in 2016.
