According to Billboard, the only artists to outdo his premiere this year were two of his collaborators — Beyoncé with Lemonade and Drake with Views.
Starboy, which was released November 25, debuted at No. 1 with 348,000 equivalent album units sold.
The album also helped him break a new record on Spotify, where he now boasts the most streams in a single day with 40 million, swiping the title from Drake. Read more...
