The last few days have been almost too much to bear for Star Wars fans, who lost not only their Princess, actress Carrie Fisher — but only one day later, said goodbye to her mother, the legendary Debbie Reynolds.
In Austin and Los Angeles Wednesday night, fans gathered to honour the legacy of Fisher, after her death at 60 years old.
According to local reports, at least 200 Austin fans (many in full costume) gathered at South Lamar's Alamo Drafthouse Theatre around 6:30 p.m. local time — raising a light saber in Carrie Fisher's honour, creating a sea of neon colours as they stood sombrely. Read more...
