Rescue workers from the White Lake Fire Authority responded to a call on Wednesday after a family dog fell through the ice on Lake Michigan.
Using a safety rope, the rescuers were able to walk to the dog's location on the ice, which was approximately 100 yards from the shore. A rescue worker then climb into the ice himself to retrieve the dog, and the two were pulled to safety by the rest of the team.
Although this pup can't speak, you can tell by its face that it's extremely grateful to be out of that cold water.
Fortunately, the dog was later reunited with its owners.
