Emily's new maid on 'Gilmore Girls' is a familiar face

LOS ANGELES —  You aren't crazy: Emily Gilmore's new maid Berta in Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is indeed a familiar face.

Berta, who is seen in all four episodes of the new Netflix revival, is played by Rose Abdoo, who also plays Stars Hollow car mechanic Gypsy.

Lauren Graham, who plays Lorelai, confirmed the casting overlap on Saturday by tweeting a TVLine article which first reported the news.
