DUBAI: Lebanese influencer Lana El-Sahely has taken to Instagram to praise luxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen’s “Solidarity with Beirut,” in collaboration with Beirut-based NGO Nusaned.
This week, the Switzerland-based brand unveiled the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Edition, which is only available in Lebanon and the UAE. Proceeds from the sale of the timepiece — there are only 30 available — will go to Nusaned’s relief efforts in light of the Aug. 4 explosion that ripped through Beirut.
“Thank you for this very special way of giving back to Lebanon,” El-Sahely said on Instagram Stories.
“The global IWC Schaffhausen family stands together with Lebanon during these challenging times,” said Christoph Grainger-Herr, CEO of IWC Schaffhausen, in a released statement.
