These D.C. restaurants are donating inauguration weekend profits to charity

Though this year's inauguration weekend will attract plenty of conflict, some local Washington, D.C., restaurants, bars and coffeeshops want to use the event as an opportunity to give back to the community. 

As of Tuesday afternoon, 18 D.C. establishments have agreed to participate in the "All In Service" campaign, and donate a portion of the proceeds raised from Jan. 20 to Jan. 22 to various charities, such as Planned Parenthood and the Human Rights Campaign.

In the midst of such a divided political nation, the participating businesses hope to remind people of the "fundamentals of hospitality." Read more...
