The 'Michael Jordan of darts' will not be deterred, even by a trophy thief in foam fingers

Professional darts seems like the chillest sport from afar. You sit around and drink alcohol while other people play a pub game with preternatural competency, then, every once in while, a guy wearing giant foam fingers storms the stage and tries to steal the trophy. 

Actually, scratch that last part. It's not traditional — but it is what just happened at the World Darts Championship in London. 

Before Michael van Gerwen of the Netherlands won Monday's championship, a spectator wearing a suit — and a pair of those weird, giant foam fingers that have somehow wormed their way into the sports world — ran onto the stage and tried to make off with the trophy.  Read more...
