Ronda Rousey still made $62,500 per second in her brutal UFC 207 loss

Ronda Rousey may have lost UFC 207 in under a minute, but she still walked away with a pretty incredible payday, earning $62,500 per second.

In her first fight since November 2015, Rousey was no match for reigning bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, who, by comparison, notched $5,208 per second. 

Rousey's total $3 million ties Conor McGregor for the highest disclosed purse in UFC history, according to MMA Fighting.

Nunes, whose flurry of ferocious punches took care of Rousey in 48 seconds, earned a total $250,000 for the knockout victory — $100,000 to show, $100,000 to win plus $50,000 for Performance of the Night.  Read more...
